Singres for ARCH:ID by Singres

The Singres Exhibition, designed in collaboration with DMDIO, is rooted in the theme of Archipelago Connections, drawing inspiration from the Wallace Line to explore the cultural and ecological contrasts across the Indonesian archipelago. 
The display area takes cues from the majestic architecture of Sriwijaya temples, featuring layered, sculptural forms clad in warm terracotta-toned 
Singres tiles—evoking a sense of history, permanence, and grounded identity from the western region.

In contrast, the walls and façade express the lively spirit of Banda Neira, with fluid, organic forms and a playful palette that mirrors the natural contours and vibrant atmosphere of the eastern islands. This juxtaposition creates a balanced and immersive spatial experience, where the timeless strength of Sriwijaya meets the expressive, free-flowing essence of Banda Neira.
