Kobi Brewery & Cemil Dining Kotta Semarang Hotel by Kotta

“It is like an artist taking a giant paint brush and painting the room with paints, inks and doodles.” That is how Domisilium Studio approach this project. It’s playfulness in strokes and swoops movements also inspired by the name of the restaurant itself, Cemil. Derived from Javanese, it has a meaning of snacking or moving your tongue cheerfully to savor delicious food. The entrance of the restaurant is cheekily inspired by the shape of tongue as one of the most powerful human body parts. We hope that this restaurant will satisfies many tongues for futures to come.
